The Nasarawa State Deputy Governor, Damishi Barau, Monday
withdrew his membership of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Premium
Times has reported.
The Deputy Governor, this morning tendered his defection letter to the state secretary of the party, Mustapha Galadima.Confirming the development, the Nasarawa State interim
Chairman of the APC, Stanley Buba, said “He was under suspension before
now. I don’t know whether it’s the suspension that made him to quit but
all the same, we wish him well in his future endeavour,” he said.
“My principal has submitted his letter of withdrawal from
the APC and will brief the press Tuesday on his next line of action,” he
said.
